I feel having ways to escape daily life is so important, especially when you have a long term illness and mental health issues. Escaping is about finding moments to allow yourself to feel content and to get lost in a book, song or even just taking a walk. Allowing yourself to have a break is key to overcoming struggles.
I've always been a creative person, I have always enjoyed creating art by drawing and even with my fashion. I have recently rekindled my love for painting. It has quickly become an easy way for me to relax and escape.
