  • THE WEEKND • LEGEND OF THE FALL WORLD TOUR 2017 featuring Bryson Tiller & Drake

THE O2 ARENA - 8 MARCH 2017 On March 8th 2017 Me and My Bestie Marie attended The Weeknds world tour, 'Legend Of The Fall' at the O2 (The second show at the O2). We were also able to get into Sky Backstage prior to doors opening and got to our seat as doors opened. The Weeknd had Three opening acts; Lil Panda, Lil Uzi Vert and Bryson Tiller, we were most excited to see Bryson as Marie is a Huge Bryson Tiller Fan. Lil Panda was pretty good as was Lil Uzi vert (despite his crazy stage lunge). Bryson came on just as the arena started to properly fill up and he was amazing, He played more songs than we had imagined and his stage set up was pretty cool. His drummer and Dj were pretty good too and Brysons voice was just as amazing as his studio recorded songs. The Weeknds stage set up was incredible and his entrance was one of my favourite moments from the concerts. His vocal skills were amazing and he completely amazed me with his vocal capability. A third of the way into his performance he brought out a surprise guest, who to this day I had no clue who it was going be. He brought out Drake! Drake was the ultimate surprise guest and made the concert that much more memorable. Even though when Drake came out we went crazy I was still able to get some good video footage. Overall the concert was a 10/10 with the variety of opening acts, amazing stage set ups, The Weeknds incredible vocals and Drakes surprise appearance made it a very unforgettable night. #FANGIRLING #MARINA #CONCERTS #THEO2 #THEWEEKND #DRAKE #BRYSONTILLER #2017

  • BBC RADIO ONE TEEN AWARDS 2016 • SHAWN MENDES, DNCE, THE VAMPS, JESS GLYNNE, LITTLE MIX & NIALL

WEMBLEY ARENA - 23 OCTOBER 2016 BBC RADIO TEEN AWARDS 2016 SHAWN MENDES, DNCE, THE VAMPS, JESS GLYNNE, LITTLE MIX & NIALL HORAN On October 23rd 2016 Me and my Bestie Marie attended The BBC Radio One Teen Awards at Wembley Arena (we had attended the previous BBC Radio One Teen Awards 2015). The Teen Awards were hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Co Hosted by Dua Lipa. The Show Was Opened up by surprise guest Niail Horan (Which caused many girls to go into full Fangirl mode including tears). He was followed by The Vamps who were very energetic and Lead singer Brad made a very entertaining stage lunge causing security to be very upset! After them Jess Glynne performed and her vocals were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed her backup dancers. Then DNCE gave an amazing performance and the bassist Cole was the highlight of their performance. Seeing Joe meant we had seen 2 out of the 3 Jonas Brothers, helping to complete Maries childhood goals. Little Mix performed next and despite seeing them the previous year at the Teen Awards they were still very entertaining and the confetti cannons during their performance was my favourite part of the day. Last but not least Shawn Mendes Performed (most people were there for Shawn as he was the Headlining act), Shawns performance was amazing and he performed one of my fave songs 'Ruin' which I wasn't expecting. (In-between every performance there were speeches and awards given out) Overall It was a very fun and enjoyable awards show (although I did prefer the BBCR1 Teen Awards 2015). #MARINA #FANGIRL #FANGIRLING #CONCERTS #2016 #SHAWNMENDES #DNCE #THEVAMPS #LITTLEMIX #NIALLHORAN #WEMBLEYARENA #DUALIPA

  • 5SOS • SOUNDS LIVE FEELS LIVE TOUR 2016 - Soundcheck Experience

THE O2 ARENA - 7 APRIL 2016 THE BRIGHTON CENTRE - 9 APRIL 2016 (SOUNDCHECK) Me and my Bestie Marie attended 2 shows from 5 Seconds of Summer's Sound Live Feels Live Tour. The first show we attended was at the O2 Arena in London and we bought tickets from a resale site (because we originally planned to just attend the Brighton show). We were able to get into the O2 priory lounge which made the experience even more fun. We were seated in Block 112 Row J which was a decent view. The second show we attended was at the Brighton centre in Brighton and we had soundcheck tickets and we were seated in the flat stalls row G. The soundcheck experience was unlike anything we had done before, it consisted of getting up early (7am) waiting outside in the cold and rain. Then after 7 hours of waiting outside the venue until the doors opened at 2pm, we were let inside to wait a further 3 hours until soundcheck started (which was an amazing experience). We then waited until around 7:30pm for the opening act to come on and around 8pm for 5SOS to come on. The opening act for our shows was Jeserae and even though his nerves came through at the O2 show I was definitely able to enjoy him more at the Brighton Show . 5SOS were incredible on both nights and their playful banter with each other and with the crowd made the performance very enjoyable. 5SOS have such amazing singing and guitar/bass/drum skills. The day was over around 11pm, which was a long day. Despite the long waiting times and exhausting day it was absolutely amazing Experience. #FANGIRL #MARINA #THEO2 #2016 #5SOS
